Distinctive Roofing Systems, LLC is owned and operated by Bill and Pam Pinkerton. Bill and Pam met their Freshman year at Texas A&M University and were married their Senior year. They are blessed with three grown daughters, Amy, Julie and Becky, and one son-in-law, Daniel. Bill and Pam are ecstatic that they will soon become grandparents for the first time! Amy and Daniel are expecting a son in October.
Bill brings 23 years of construction knowledge to Distinctive Roofing Systems, LLC. He has experience with several aspects of the construction industry, including several years as a General Contractor. His knowledge has been very helpful to homeowners that need guidance choosing the best roof system for their home. Bill continues to gain knowledge to set himself apart from most roofing contractors. He attends conferences yearly to learn the newest innovative trends in metal roofing. He also attends training sminars and has been certified by several roofing suppliers. In addition, he has joined the leading associations in the roofing industry.
Pam works more behind the scenes by running their office. She also regularly attends conferences to keep abreast of the lastest trend in the metal roofing industry, as well as participating in conferences that help employers keep their business running as smooth as possible.
When they are not working or building their business, Bill loves to hunt and Pam loves to get creative at home. When they can get away, they enjoy spending time out on the lake fishing. Don't ask Bill which one(s) he caught...the answer is sad. Pam concedes that Bill was feeling under the weather on the trip, but will quickly claim that she beat him on the last trip as well!
Bill and Pam feel very strongly about the charities they support, such as the Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude's and the Make a Wish Foundation. They also help support friends as missionaries doing work in Honduras. Another group that has become very important to Bill and Pam is the Show of Support - Hunt for Heroes. This is an organization started by a man named Terry Johnson that helps soldiers and their families that are injured in the line of duty. He selects candidates based on their interest in the outdoors and then takes them on a hunt of a lifetime. Last year, Distinctive Roofing Systems, LLC sponsored a table at their annual banquet. It was extremely touching and just about every form of military was represented in the attendees, including firefighters, state troopers and policeman.
